On a Sunday morning, the joyous melodies of the previous day’s 9th Annual Jazz Festival of the Cambridge Jazz Foundation playing in my mind, uplifted my spirits as I strolled along the banks of the Charles River near MIT, on Memorial Drive. Sailboat masts swayed gently in the refreshing breeze, complemented by the sturdy iron fence lining the riverbank. The soft morning light danced across the tranquil water creating a peaceful scene.
